This Privacy Policy describes how Gather Around Brands, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operating the Citrus House brand at citrushousecraft.com (the “Site”), collects, uses, discloses, and shares information about you when you visit our Site, make a purchase, or interact with us in any way.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Purchase information — When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, and payment information. Payment card data is processed securely by Shopify Payments and is not stored directly on our servers.
  • Account information — If you create a Shopify customer account, we collect your name, email address, and password.
  • Email newsletter signup — When you sign up for the Citrus Club or any email marketing, we collect your email address and, if provided, your name. This data is stored and managed in Mailchimp.
  • Wholesale and retail inquiries — When you submit an inquiry form, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, business type, estimated volume, and any message you include.
  • Communications — We retain records of any correspondence you send us.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Log data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of your visit, time spent on pages, and referring URLs.
  • Device information — Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
  • Cookies and tracking technologies — We use cookies and pixels placed by us and third parties. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
  • Google Analytics — We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Site. Google collects anonymized behavioral data including pages visited, traffic sources, and session duration.
  • Meta Pixel — We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel) on our Site. The Meta Pixel collects information about your activity on our Site — including pages viewed and actions taken — and shares this with Meta Platforms, Inc. to enable advertising measurement and targeted advertising on Facebook and Instagram. 3. How We Use Your Information

4. How We Disclose and Share Your Information

4.1 Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers that perform services on our behalf. They are authorized to use your data only as necessary to provide those services. Our primary providers include:

  • Shopify Inc. — e-commerce platform, order management, and payment processing.
  • Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.) — email marketing platform for Citrus Club and promotional communications.
  • Google LLC — analytics services (Google Analytics).
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. — advertising measurement and audience targeting (Meta Pixel).
  • UPS, FedEx, USPS — order fulfillment and delivery.

4.2 Advertising and Analytics Partners — Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel to share your Site activity data with Meta Platforms, Inc. for advertising measurement and targeted advertising on Meta’s platforms (Facebook and Instagram). This constitutes ‘sharing’ personal information under California’s CPRA for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. You may opt out. See Section 7.2 and our Consent Preferences page.

4.3 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.

4.4 Legal Compliance

We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.

5. Third-Party Services & Technologies

5.1 Shopify

5.2 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymized data about how visitors use our Site. Opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

5.3 Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel)

We use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Pixel collects information about actions you take on our Site and transmits this data to Meta for advertising measurement and targeted advertising. Under California’s CCPA/CPRA, this constitutes ‘sharing’ personal information.

5.4 Mailchimp

We use Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.) to manage email marketing and the Citrus Club newsletter. When you subscribe, your email address and profile information are stored in Mailchimp. 7. Your Privacy Rights

7.1 All Users

  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@citrushousecraft.com.
  • Update your account information at any time by logging into your Shopify account.
  • Opt out of the Meta Pixel via our Consent Preferences page or at facebook.com/ads/preferences.

7.2 California Residents — CCPA/CPRA

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

  • Right to Know — Request disclosure of the personal information we have collected about you, including categories, sources, business purposes, and third parties.
  • Right to Delete — Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Correct — Request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing — We do not sell personal information for money. However, we share personal information with Meta via the Meta Pixel for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to opt out by: (1) using our Consent Preferences page; (2) emailing hello@citrushousecraft.com.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — You have the right to limit our use of sensitive personal information to uses necessary to provide the services you request.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights.

To exercise your California rights, submit a verifiable consumer request to hello@citrushousecraft.com or by mail to 515 22nd Street South, St. Petersburg, FL 33712, Attn: Privacy. We will respond within 45 days. Authorized agents must provide written authorization signed by the consumer.

7.3 Virginia Residents — VCDPA

Virginia residents have rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA) including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Contact hello@citrushousecraft.com. We will respond within 45 days, with one possible 45-day extension with notice.

7.4 Colorado Residents — CPA

Colorado residents have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA) including rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling. Contact hello@citrushousecraft.com. We will respond within 45 days.

7.5 Texas Residents — TDPSA

Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) including rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Contact hello@citrushousecraft.com. We will respond within 45 days.

7.6 Appeals

If we decline to act on a privacy rights request, you may appeal by contacting hello@citrushousecraft.com with the subject line “Privacy Rights Appeal.” We will respond within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general’s office.

8. Data Retention

  • Order records: retained for seven years to comply with tax and accounting obligations.
  • Customer accounts: retained until you request deletion.
  • Marketing data (Mailchimp): retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
  • Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics’ default retention settings (26 months).
  • Contact form submissions: retained for 2 years and then deleted.
  • Meta Pixel data: governed by Meta’s data retention policies. See Meta’s Privacy Policy.

9. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. Our Site is hosted on Shopify, which maintains PCI DSS compliance for payment card data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have done so inadvertently, contact hello@citrushousecraft.com and we will promptly delete it.

11. Links to Third-Party Websites

Our Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to read their privacy policies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email or a prominent notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
